About Us

Hi! We're the GU Stitch Society - a society at the University of Glasgow dedicated to all things needlecraft. From embroidery to crochet - we're a group brought together by our love of crafting.

The society was established in 2014 under the name the GU Sewing Society. We rebranded in 2021 to reflect the wider range of crafting activities we do. Throughout the term, we run weekly events where we learn new skills and work on our projects while having a good chat!

This year we're expanding the society with the introduction of this website. A place for us to share patterns, projects, and materials we've been loving. We're so excited about what's to come and hope you are too!
